Ultra Violet Light Filters
In an ideal situation all wells would been deep enough and have adequate sealant to keep out all ground water contaminates such as bacteria. Unfortunately that is not always the case and many wells contain a mild bacteria know as coliform. If your well does contain coliform often treating it with chlorine can remove all the bacteria, however if that doesn’t work your best option is an ultraviolet light filter.
Relatively inexpensive to install and easy to maintain an ultraviolet light filter will make your water safe and drinkable.
note: An ultraviolet light filter is not a good option if your water contains E. Coli. For E. Coli. a chlorinator is a better option
